Death Valley overnighter Ride (April 13th thru 15th 2021

Dear Members,

I'm so excited to share the details of our first overnight ride in a long time!  We will be heading out to Death Valley April 13th and returning on the 15th. Accommodations and route are included here as attachments.  If you have any questions, let me know. I will post the poll on our website at a later date.

Death Valley overnight Ride April 13th thru 15th 2021.

The Ride to;

We will head north on hwy. 95 for about ¼ mile and turn left onto hwy. 163 to hwy. 95 north to the city of Searchlight for breakfast at Dennys. (39 miles). After breakfast we will head north on hwy. 95 to hwy. 164 and turn left to Nipton and Interstate 15 south. 

We will exit at ramp 246 turn right toward hwy. 127 and gas up in Baker Ca. (72 miles for a total of 111 miles from last gas stop). We will continue on hwy 127 toward Death Valley / Shoshone for 56 miles and stop at Shoshone to top off our gas tanks as gas in the park in very expensive and sometimes not available. We will continue into Death Valley and stop at Bad Water Basin for a break and photos.  We will then continue on 

Badwater Rd. to Furnace Creek for a break and anyone that may need to buy a pass (If you have a National Park pass you will want to bring it). We will continue on hwy. 190 to hwy. 374 to Beatty Nv. (114 miles from last gas stop).

The Ride from;

After having breakfast at Mels Diner on hwy. 95 we will continue south to hwy. 160 andturn right to Interstate 15 for gas and rest stop. (126 miles from last gas stop). We will head south on Interstate 15 to ramp exit 286 toward Nipton / Searchlight on hwy. 164. 

At Searchlight we will turn right on hwy. 95 to hwy. 163 to Laughlin Nv. The ride will end at hwy. 95 in Bullhead City, Az. (113 miles from last gas stop).

Side note: Scotty's Castle is still closed and will reopen no earlier  than December 2022
