MRHOG September Meeting

  11  September  2021 11am, Welcome everyone. The Pledge of Allegiance 2 Guests at the meeting were  Carry and Barry.     Membership We have 66 members at this time. Birthdays.                    September birthday members were called to the front of the meeting. Bonnie was our only member with a September birthday so she was presented with the Birthday gift card for $10.00 HAPPY BIRTHDAY BONNIE !! Treasury Report:         Balance in the checkbook is currently $3,097.73.  Expenses for August were $113.13. For raffle gifts until the  end of the year. Total deposit was $139.00 Membership =$20.00.         50/50 = $22.50           50/50 = donated back $22.50       Raffle =  $30.00 Announcements:                     Announced the secretary position is available and to let us know if anyone is interested.  This would only be until the end of the year. Pancake Breakfast will be on October 30, pancakes, eggs, bacon, coffee and Orange juice for $5 per person. Open to members and guests.

Ride to Payson/Show Low/White Mountains

  August 27-29 2021 Well you won’t see many pictures from our ride to Show Low and the White Mountains. We were having too much fun swishing around the mountains. The four of us, Jim & Marla Merryman, Ed and myself left Kingman on Friday with our first stop in Williams and had brunch at Anna’s Canyon Cafe. Very popular spot, with good food. The weather was perfect. No jackets required.  Afterwards we headed down I40 and jumped on 98A towards Sedona. There’s no doubting Sedona’s beauty. We took the 260 through some beautiful areas and quaint little towns, Camp Verde, Strawberry and Pine. The road was long but had many gentle curves and gorgeous scenery. There were a couple of sticky tar snakes that grabbed you, but mostly perfect.  We stayed in Payson for two nights and enjoyed some down time by the pool. Didn’t know it at the time, but we came back with a lot of mosquito bites (like 15!). We had intended on riding Devil’s Highway, but ran out of time. All the roads had such n
