Death Valley Overnighter

What a great trip this has been! Isn’t that part of a song? Had a great time on our Death Valley ride. We had six bikes and a trike ( 9 members). The weather was fantastic! Never too hot, and even a little chilly sometimes. Who would’ve thought? The route was great (thanks Lon and Gordon). Death Valley was beautiful with its strange, unusual surroundings, view and rhythmical sweeping roads. There was only one mishap. Gene’s trunk hinge came undone, opened and dragged along the short bit of freeway we had. He neglected to pack the duct tape but we all put our two cents in and came up with a bungee and cloth. The best part of this journey, in addition to riding, was sharing time, stories, and making memories with friends! I
