  WEDNESDAY 23 JUNE 2021 What a great day for a ride. After weeks of high temperatures, the weather was comfortable with a little sprinkles. Now I absolutely need to wash my bike. This brunch ride to Lilo’s should have been called the Dossey Dozen Ride.  The Dosseys' We were twelve people in total with more than half being Dosseys. It was pretty cool seeing their kids from Iowa enjoying riding together. I’m sure we all enjoyed our ride. Looking forward to the next one.  That's All

 JUNE 15 thru 17 2021 Can’t believe our ride to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon was last week. In retrospect maybe we should have cancelled because saying it was HOT is not enough. It was ridiculously hot! At least 120 degrees on our ride out. But… the ride was so worth it!  Lon created a great route for us, unfortunately his stater went out before we got to Zion HD and he wasn’t able to finish the ride with us. (Zion HD did get the bike fixed). We had breakfast at the Coffee Cup in Bullhead City - a definite “go there again”, lots of stops to hydrate, hung out at Zion HD to cool off and purchase hydration vests. The ride through Zion park was beautiful and fun. We stayed in Kanab and didn’t get in until about 7pm. The next day we got an early start to the Canyon. From Kanab the ride is beautiful with gentle sweeping curves. Everyone made it home safely on Thursday with us breaking off into three groups. We have some early risers.   WEDNESDAY 23 JUNE 2021 RIDE 365 The following is a message/request from a member of our chapter: Mike Celsi has signed up for it..  Could you please ask the people that sign up for the Ride 365 Chapter mileage to please post some of their miles.  It is almost midyear, and I am the only one that has posted anything.  If you sign up, and don’t post anything, you drive the chapter average down since you are counted but haven’t contributed anything.  Any miles are fine, just please post what you have ridden.  There are 3 members signed up and haven’t posted at this time. So, you ask "what is Ride 365?" What is Ride 365? Ride 365 is The Official Mileage Recognition Program for The Official Riding Club of Harley-Davidson. Ride 365 includes the existing Lifetime Recognition and two new programs—Annual Recognition and an annual Chapter Challenge. SUNDAY 13 JUNE 2021 Had a great time at the picnic today. The weather was perfect and the location was excellent. Again a shout out to the officers for their planning, participation and execution! You made it happen. We’ll share photos but also a big thank you to you, the members. All the food was great! We played egg toss, corn hole and you should have seen the Left, Right, Center excitement! Some of you have played that before! Thank you Tony Taylor who was that winner and gave half his winnings to the chapter. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and got to know a few more members.
