Over the weekend, Mother Road Hog group had an awesome ride out to Winslow Arizona, the Meteor Crater and Barringer space museum. What an awesome experience, thanks everyone for a great week end, and special thanks to Lonnie Warden for leading.

After our initial meet up and sign in, we headed to breakfast at the Airport Cafe. It was a beautiful morning, no wind (yet!) and not too cold. When we made our first stop in Seligman everyone was cold and we all put on additional gear. The last leg from Flagstaff to Winslow was so windy that quite a few of us felt the tiredness in our right arm from trying to keep the bike straight. There was a group of ladies that took our picture on the corner in Winslow when they saw from our chapter flag that we too were from Kingman. We later gave them our table in the restaurant. Not sure the waitress was ready for that or not. Sunday morning was a much nicer day as far as the weather was concerned. We all enjoyed the meteor crater and even learned a thing or two about meteors. The ride concluded in Seligman at the A&W for root beer floats and Marc and Elsa had their picture taken on some horses that the cowboy had to raise money for the rescued animals. We all had a great weekend with no mishaps or accidents. And that’s always a good thing.
